De Hoge Veluwe National Park
Ready for the future with Ticketcounter
Since spring 2022, De Hoge Veluwe National Park has been using Ticketcounter's total solution. By expanding their online offering, they are making a leap in service provision.
The Challenge
De Hoge Veluwe National Park is the largest actively managed privately owned nature reserve in the Netherlands. The Park covers approximately 5,400 hectares and is a tourist attraction thanks to its extensive nature, the Jachthuis Sint Hubertus and the Kröller Müller Museum. On an annual basis about 600,000 visitors enter the Park through one of its three entrance gates. In order to make these flows run more smoothly, the decision was made to carry out the 'entrance redesign' project. Within this project, not only the entrances to the park were redesigned, but there was also a desire to significantly expand online services. For the online ticket sales, cash registers and access control, the National Park De Hoge Veluwe Foundation found Ticketcounter.
The Solution
The implementation of the complete Ticketcounter solution is a big step forward for the online services of De Hoge Veluwe National Park. The moment visitors purchase a ticket through the online shop, they are alerted to the free activities and events taking place on the day they want to visit the Park. It is also possible to use the shop to buy tickets for excursions, tours & workshops and to book rental products such as transportation. Because sales and control take place in the same system, this speeds up business reporting and it is possible to easily transfer these results to the accounting software of De Hoge Veluwe National Park via a link.
With this collaboration we are taking the next step in improving the customer journey of our visitors.

De Hoge Veluwe National Park
Implementation in three simple steps
1
Understanding your needs
You talk, we listen. Then we present you our experiences and together we determine what your online ticket shop should look like, what functionalities you want and where on your website we integrate the platform.
2
Development & implementation
Our developers get to work building an online ticket shop that fully complies with the list of requirements we drew up together. After a few weeks, you get test access. And shortly afterwards you can sell your first tickets online.
3
Continuous development
But it doesn't stop there. We maintain the platform regularly and optimize it according to the latest developments. This way it stays up-to-date with the latest technologies and IT security.
